As may know, late in 2020 Waste Management took over the contract for curbside collection of waste and recyclables in the Town.  While they are honoring the provision in our contract to collect up to 8 tires per year per residence (2 at a time), used oil in one-gallon jugs, and lead-acid batteries, they are requiring residents to schedule a special pickup for these items rather than just setting them out to the curb on recycling weeks.  The number to call is 1-888-960-0008.  Please help spread word of this to your neighbors who may not be subscribed to our email list or Facebook page.
