Welcome to the official web site of the Town of Cottage Grove in Dane County, Wisconsin.  Our Town includes a mixture of farms and farmettes, wetlands, rural subdivisions, scattered residences, commercial properties and rural family businesses.  We are bordered by the City of Madison, the Village of Cottage Grove, and the towns of Blooming Grove, Sun Prairie, Deerfield, and Pleasant Springs. The Town is bisected by CTH N, which interchanges with I-90 and I-94. US Hwy 12/18 is a major east-west route leading to and from the Madison area. Most of the workers in the Town commute to the Madison area for employment. Dominant employment sectors include public administration, health care, education and retail trade. Most of the Town is within the Monona Grove School district, but portions of the Town also fall in the Deerfield, Sun Prairie, Marshall, Stoughton and McFarland school districts.
