Board of Review

Board of Review is held once each year to give property owners an opportunity to contest the assessed value of their property. Pursuant to s. 70.47(1) Wis. stats., "The board of review shall meet annually at any time during the 30-day period beginning on the 4th Monday in April."

Pursuant to s. 70.47(2), notice of the Board of Review must be posted and published (in the legal section of the Wisconsin State Journal) at least 15 days in advance. Register here if you would like to receive a notice by email when board of review is scheduled.

The 2019 board of review is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Town Hall

If you do decide to present your case to the board of review, please read the published/posted notice carefully as there are specific requirements that you must meet. An appointment is required, and can be made by calling the Clerk at (608) 839-5021 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., or you may email her at clerk@towncg.net
