On November 21, 2016, the Town Board held a public hearing for the proposed 2017 budget. Only one resident was present and there were no questions or concerns. The 2016 Town tax levy of $1,157,764.00 was approved by the 8 electors present at the Special Meeting of the Electors following the public hearing. This translates to a Town mill rate of $3.8815 for 2016, which is up slightly from $3.7981 for 2015. The Town Board approved the 2017 budget at their meeting on November 21, 2016.

First installment tax collection was complete as of January 31, 2017.
If you have a second installment balance to pay, you should have received a bill from the Dane County Treasurer in June, payable by July 31, 2017 to the Dane County Treasurer.
