Board of Review is held once each year to give property owners an opportunity to contest the assessed value of their property. Pursuant to s. 70.47(1) Wis. stats., "The board of review shall meet annualay at any time during the 30-day period beginning on the 4th Monday in April."
Pursuant to s. 70.47(2), notice of the Board of Review must be posted and published (in the legal section of the Wisconsin State Journal) at least 15 days in advance. Register here. if you would like to receive a notice by email when board of review is scheduled.
The 2018 board of review is scheduled for Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Town Hall
Before coming to board of review, you should come to the open book session to see if your differences can be worked out with the assessor. Appointments are recommended for Open Book, and can be made by calling Associated Appraisal Consultants, Inc. at 800-721-4157. The 2018 open book is scheduled for Thursday, May 17th from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at the Town Hall
If you do decide to present your case to the board of review, please read the published/posted notice carefully as there are specific requirements that you must meet.
